Lets say I order 3 phones on 3 lines. 2 of the lines are my daughter's and they use iPhone. Once I get the phone do I need to activate to get the credit and costco $100 card. If I activate can I go back to iphones they are using? If they go back to iphones I am hoping I will still get the credits. Looks like for XL we would be paying $10/month. Any help is appreciated. The costco rep said I will loose the credit if I switch to different phone. It could be the rep doesn't know about it. In past I did that. Not sure if any rules changed.

You have to keep the pixel line active to receive the monthly credit.

My wife is a T-mobile user whereas i am not. Any way i can activate on her account with her number and then later swap the phones?

EIP / RDC has nothing to do with device usage. You have to keep the phone line that is attached to the EIP in order to get paid the RDC, but the device itself can just sit in the box, used on a different line / account, or sold. But if you mess with the line, you can lose the RDC.

Read my original reply. The device can just sit in the box, aka, leave it alone until you need it. I had devices sit for years until I needed to unlock it, so I had to transfer T-mobile service to them and use them for 40 days. Still got my RDC for all my devices.

BTW, you don't need cell service to activate the phones. You can activate just on WiFi and use the phones as WiFi only. Even if you do transfer T-mobile service to the device, it's easy to transfer service to another device.
