12 uses in, the sound quality diminished and speakers sound like they are failing. Don't recommend them. Just get Meta. Take it from someone who has tried 8 pairs of knock offs, they don't last and aren't worth wasting time on.

in reality though a decent pai of ear buds in your ear can do everything something like this can. it's not until we have the camera on board, and maybe a heads up display of some sort, that it truly needs to be glasses

I don't get why people want speakers built into the glasses, seems like an answer to a problem that nobody has.

I probably wouldn't get either. My co worker just got the metas. He sweated on them in the first month and it killed the speakers. He just got his replacement.

Not really, people can use something like this at work to listen to music or a podcast whereas earbuds would be obvious and thus prohibited.

I walk my dog in Texas and practice Portuguese via Pimzleur audio at the same time. Sorry dude but technically I did identify the perfect use case. Nailed a pair, blocks the sun and I don't have to stick a headphone imin my ear. Sound quality not a concern as long as I can hear the voices. Bought a pair and they work perfectly for this Use Case!

I actually got this on a previous deals because im a habitual ear bud user and over a long time I had to move over to the non in ear, pebble style because of discomfort. And recently even those were getting too much and I got an ear infection thay sucked. I still need needed something so I tried this and honestly I've been loving it. Yeah quality wise the meta is probably loads better but as far as not having to have something directly in my ear has been great. So yeah its not going to be the same needs for everyone but it definitely has its place.

I've had the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses for 2 years. They sound pretty good, and have decent battery life.
They occasionally go on sale (on Amazon) for under $50.

My problem is that there's absolutely zero bass. Not sure if they're all like that but still debating on keeping/returning. Haven't tested call quality yet though (Meta's call quality is fantastic)
