Every post for a shirt like this has some goober that feels the need to say this. For what?
If you don't want petroleum products on your skin, that's fine for you. But as a quick dry material, polyester works well. Cotton sucks in hot, humid climates in the summer. It also sucks when you get it sweat-soaked in cold/freezing conditions. Synthetics work well in the extremes.

Agreed, sweating in cotton sucks. I'll add this to the long list of petroleum stuff I use. soap, shampoo, shaving cream, moisturizer, sunblock, hemroid cream 😂

Never understood this sentiment , does it dry faster than cotton sure .. in my experience I still stay wet af for a LONG time with polyester. One attribute about plastic that most people bypass or forget is that it tends to smell a LOT more than cotton . My polyester clothing is smelly compared to my cotton clothing . Mind you , I sweat a lot , I go to the sauna lol

Agreed, it gets funky and getting the smell out requires extraordinary efforts.

Earlier this year I bought a Carhartt hat and then a matching one from some no-name brand about half the price. Literally the cheapest version of the same style/color. It ended up being a 1:1 fit.

I'm astonished that the Carhartt hat is completely faded. It was navy blue, it's grey now. The no-name brand is still dark navy blue.

You are paying for the tiny tag with the Carhartt logo.
