Anyone used a smaller air compressor like this to blow out their sprinkler system? I have a single zone (smaller front yard) that needs a blowout. I don't care if it takes me longer and 5 runs to empty most of the water out of my lines.

yes. I have the same one and use it every winter. it blows out all the water the first time around but I refill the tank and do it again until mostly air that comes out.

I have, but I also have a couple of bubble air tanks. I tie them in to do a sprinker blowout with some air connector tees and hoses, and this gives me a lot more volume to blow out after letting the compressor run until it stops to fill the entire system to pressure.

Of course it can. I own this exact same model and use it regularly to air tires as needed. Just add a hose and air chuck and you're off to the races.

Yes with the proper attachment. This [lowes.com] was about $12 a few weeks ago.

Are you happy with it long term? Does it work when it's cold. I know some of these oil less compressors get a bit grouchy when its cold.

Just wondering if we can use this for painting? Is there enough pressure and volume to finish one bedroom one at a time?

Add me to the list of satisfied owners. I use it for smaller jobs and it's portability is very handy. I bought a coil hose and accessories kit to go with it.

How is this compared to the YMMV Walmart 20 gal. Hart 1.8HP 200 PSI Oil-Free air compressor?

Looks similiar to my Rigid one. These are pretty loud. When it dies, i am going the oil route.
