we have 2 of the smaller ones and they are very solid. the handle is especially nice compared to plastic ones on other brands.

I am not a Stanley fan. In fact I have lots of the hydroflask. I like to stick to the same eco system. But my family does own a few Stanley, including this one. And my honest opinion is they they're very well made. Holds temperatures better than the hydroflask and I love the metal handles. The plastic straw top is sturdy too. I am actually going to pick up this deal too.

I have this in a different color. As bkgovols mentioned it is really well built, the handle is bolted on and it's wide enough to make it easy to hold (I call mine "my lantern"). No problem with leaks and cleaning is also easy with the wide opening. I haven't tested ice water but it does keep hot water hot. Only gripe is the straw will sometimes get knocked out when refilling, it would be cool to have a metal straw with a screw in design.
