Yep I'm trying the 4 digit number in the front. I tried the 3 digit number in the back as well just to check and it does tell me it requires the 4 digit pin. No luck either way.

Correct. Just to be clear, you need to login to your Amex Platinum account and "Enroll" in the streaming reimbursement benefit (under your card benefits tab) one time.

Once that is done, you'll automatically get the statement credits (up to $30 per month) for future charges without the need to go back and activate / enroll in anything else going forward.

One oddity - it looks like you need to "Enroll" (after the refresh last week) even if you received streaming credits in the past. Not sure why it didn't carry over with the refresh, but since no enrollment was previously required make sure you don't miss that step with the new setup. Again though, enrollment is one-and-done.

Deciding between YouTube TV and a Disney, Hulu, ESPN combo package. I really don't watch cable anymore except for sports, so I'm thinking YouTube TV might be overkill. My AmEx card also has deals right now for the Disney package, and it lasts 6 months vs. 3 months (although it's still $60 total in credits).

Also, does anyone else agree the UI is terrible? And it is completely unchanged since 2020.

I got the offer and was billed yesterday, normally as soon as it's post I get the redeemed offer. I didn't so I looked. They aren't giving the credits till 3/26 (or possibly 6/26)!! Wow, that's a change!! Crazy or am I reading it wrong??

From the terms:

Statement Credit

Please allow 90-days after 3/20/2026 for the statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.

Interesting, I would think your dad would have to log in with an AL IP address once every 3 months (or you with a PA IP address if he's the main account holder).

Almost certainly you'll get the credit a few days after the charge posts. Amex always puts this in the fine print for their offers but if everything works correctly it happens much faster.

Just chatted with AMEX, was told this is for "new" accounts only. I don't see it anywhere but that's what I was told. Was always automatic with prior YTTV offers.
