Good price, but keep in mind its discounted for a reason. The touchpad is gross and plastic with a sandpaper-y feel. Also for a top spec laptop it lacks TB5 which makes buying the Intel version a waste.

Ok, that makes sense. HP discounted this because all of the people are complaining about the touchpad. It's discounted because things just get discounted. Like any other laptop. About the TB5. I have noticed all these high-end laptops on SD most of them also do not have TB5. I personally do not see any issue with the touchpad like you mentioned.
