5080 finally below $999. Maybe the rumors of the 5080ti are true. Last I heard CES 2026. I'll probably wait. My 3080 12gb is holding up fine for now. Got a Aorus B650E waiting for a good price on a 7800x3d and some CL32 DDR5 and I'll start my AM5 build.

I only buy stuffs are that <$100 from Amazon.

Bro, i'm spend 3k in Amazon last 3 years (im from Uzbekistan) for PC things. But, you scared buy even you living in US or Canada? Yeah we have everything in my country, but PC stuffs cost 50% more. This GPU cost me 1k$ with delivery to UZB, but here 5080 cost 1400$

The super versions are delayed till first half of 2026. If you can't wait you can get it now but you may have buyer's regret depending on your workload.

The 5080 super is supposed to have 24GB of VRAM for $1k?

No and you already have sunk cost in the existing card. Resale means some losses in addition and time/effort.

The 5070 is probably best bang for buck card from Nvidia right now.
