can't live in fear...just ensure it's shipped and sold by Amazon and you should be fine

as others have said, so many times before.. stick to first-party sellers and you'll probably be fine.

Yeah, they are reacting to Walmart. Probably placed the PNY factory orders yesterday after the sale went online.

Amazing deal. Even better if you can use your Amazon card for 5% back. Getting a sub msrp 5080 is unheard of. Obviously, Walmart and Amazon are clearing inventory.

NVIDIA has no incentive to release the supers as there focus is AI and they're currently dominating the gpu market.

All these posts in every gpu sale stating the supers are around the corner are wishful thinking. There will be shortages and scalping just like last time. Nvidia is in no rush to release the super when there AI branch makes billions.

I got the PNY 5070 from Walmart for $519 about 4 months ago, is 5080 really worth the additional $410+ ?
if you need the power, sure. what do you use it for? what monitor do you use (hz and res)?

I meant like I can't justify the additional cost of it for the performance. I still have a 4k 60hz monitor but have been eyeing 144hz ones

"Well said! I totally agree—there's good stock now, but once it's gone, there's a high chance there won't be anything left that's both good and fairly priced. The future isn't looking great with the dollar getting weaker. I decided to pull the trigger now so I don't have to worry about it later, even if I had to pay a little more today rather than risk having nothing available down the road."
