Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

My 15 year old Go5G Plus account with 1 free line is never qualified for these

Edit: I didn't receive any email nor was able to locate the ad in T-life app, but I called (833) 579-2247 and asked the rep if my account qualifies. The rep confirmed that it does and they charged $10 activation fee and now the physical SIM is on its way to me. They didn't ask for an IMEI or anything, they only needed my billing and shipping info.

Note, if you took advantage of the free line offer in May 2025, when T-mobile raised the old SERO-like prices by $5 per line, and added this to accounts with multiple lines as a way to ease the price increase, you will not be eligible. I did take advantage, and moved my Visible line, so no go this round on a would-be free line #3.

May deal for reference

Congrats on your new free line. If you want to be super safe, you can hold of on using the line until you verify on your bill that you are receiving the free line promotion ID250385. If you don't use a line and you end up being billed for it, you can ask for a "no install" to reverse the charges and cancel the line.

Thanks to the OP for the reddit links and the YMMV flag.

I confirmed with T-Mobile that this is a targeted promotion, so not everyone will be eligible (I was not, unfortunately). Hopefully other people have good luck!

If you are eligible, they send you a SIM card once you pay the activation fee.Not sure what benefit you would have with going to Costco.
