Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

Let us know if your older plan changes with a new line. That has been the number one issue with T Mobile. Offering the free line, then forcing your entire account and all plans to upgrade to the newest plan and doubling the cost. Never telling you, no documentation anywhere stating they would do that.

I have 3 lines on the unlimited Kickstart. CS(live chat) told me I don't qualify for the free line.

My 15 year old Go5G Plus account with 1 free line is never qualified for these

Edit: I didn't receive any email nor was able to locate the ad in T-life app, but I called (833) 579-2247 and asked the rep if my account qualifies. The rep confirmed that it does and they charged $10 activation fee and now the physical SIM is on its way to me. They didn't ask for an IMEI or anything, they only needed my billing and shipping info.
I didn't receive any email or text message (could be because I usually unsubscribe) nor see the promo in the T-life app. I called the 833 number to ask about eligibility, and the agent informed I qualified. I'm on the NA Simple Choice Plan. Asked them to ship me a physical SIM. Thanks OP for the post and ChildishGambino for the info.

Congrats on your new free line. If you want to be super safe, you can hold of on using the line until you verify on your bill that you are receiving the free line promotion ID250385. If you don't use a line and you end up being billed for it, you can ask for a "no install" to reverse the charges and cancel the line.
Thank you ,

Anyone added the line via eSIM got your free line id 250385 shows up on your online account? Or anyone received text message about free line discount enrollment?

Can this be used as a watch line so I don't need to pay $10 extra with Go5G+ ?

same exact situation for me. I never qualify for the extra lines but calling this # worked for me. they said I was eligible for 2 free lines actually. just paid $20 in activation fees for the sim cards. hope it worked and didn't mess up my current plan.

I called the tmobile costco line and initially was told I was eligible for the promotion but had to call back because I didn't have the phone with me to lock in the BYOD plan.

Called back 30 mins later about the promo and was told my plan is not eligible. So weird.

So will this line NEVER be eligible for device promos? Or just initially?

is there a way to know which lines are paid and which are free on your account? I have 6 free, 3 paid. Would love to get this line to replace one of my paid lines.

yes, login into your account view bill break down by device, for instance my original plan was 2 phones which will say included then my free lines show $20 each with a $20 discount friends and family 2 lines on us.

Anyone else has advice on this. Have older plan and don't want them to mess up. I did chat with them so got confirmation but not sure how much that holds.

I did search but couldn't find any note about if this is only for the existing TM customers or even a new customer can get the free line using the code?

Your plan does not get changed by adding a line. Your plan SOC may get changed if you have already reached the max limit of lines for your current SOC, like 8 lines is the most common limit which will need a SOC change to a 9-12 SOC.

If you have reached the limit and want to safely change your plan's SOC, you need to research the next tier SOCs (there will be multiple) for your plan. Pick one and then tell CS to change the SOC to the specific SOC of your choice.
