Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

Nothing is free. They will get you on Activation Fee. When the time comes when they raise prices again, They will hit you for $5 on this free line.
ONE Plan / free line from a few years back. Taxes are inclusive, in my situation.

I haven't seen a change to this with the recent price increases. It's still a free line as per my last bill. YMMV of course.

Where is a good place to buy a newer iPhone (16 or 17) and get in on this free line? Got the free line offer, but wife will be switching over from her corporate line to this one and needs a phone. Any chance to get a discounted phone from Tmobile when I call in? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

This promotion worked for me.
I've T-Mobile One with 2 paid lines and 3 free lines, and with this I got a 4th free line.
Thank you!

Once you get the free line, you'll get a new number with it. But you can port in a number at any time to replace the phone number on this line or any of your lines. So get the free line first and port in number from another carrier second.

Just use your existing phone to get this line and get a new phone later.

I called 611 and spoke with a friendly representative. I was asked to confirm which program I was checking the status of. It was determined that my plan qualifies and I paid $10 + tax for a SIM card to be mailed to me. I am going to follow the guidance in this thread to hold the SIM card for a month to confirm that it is in fact free then I will use it on my secondary phone.

Thank you OP for the head's up! Fingers crossed this will work!

I think that there's zero chance of getting a discounted iPhone by calling in. This is a bring your own device free line offer and I've read that this line is explicitly excluded from any phone financing offers (presumably now and in the future).

I added a free line March 2025. I have contacted TMO every month because it was always charged. They would say they would check into it further and issue a $10 account credit to offset the cost. Tonight I called again. "Nico" dug into and came back with the info that the free line code was removed in June. I told Nico that this never was told to me. Nico issued a $10 account credit. He also said they will automatically issue a $10 credit every month for 6 months. We shall see!

I went to Sam's club today, they were able to add a new line for free with no connection fee. This is my 3rd free line on my 10 yr old Simple Choice plan. I had 2 free lines a few years ago with their uncarrier promotions.
The only cons is that I can't order any phone for 1 year from that line. No big deal
