Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

simple choice plan here. tried to chat them when this deal first posted. got all the way to the end of the road and was told i dont qualify. sent cropped screenshot of the text and email (posted in this thread). no go. denied. i just had some downtime at work and dialed 611. i didnt even need to say the promotion name or ID. i just said "i'm calling to add a free line to my account." she said ok, that will be 10 dollars. do you need a sim? yes. ok. done. took all of 10 minutes. so moral of this story is that you just need to call and get the right representative.
From page 1, in case you need it.

Congrats on your new free line. If you want to be super safe, you can hold of on using the line until you verify on your bill that you are receiving the free line promotion ID250385. If you don't use a line and you end up being billed for it, you can ask for a "no install" to reverse the charges and cancel the line.

yes. definitely going to track this. i have other free lines on the account but this one was by far the easiest to get.
this one is also a little unique in that i asked about how my bill would change (line tax, regulatory, etc.) and the final sum was 40cents. i had her confirm it 2 more times. i pay taxes and fees on my other "free lines" in the amount of around 6 bucks per line. so i'll take 40cents any day. but now i just need to be extra cautious about what she added lol.

Just called into the number in the first post and successfully added the free line. Checked account and promo attached. On a ONE plan (should have switched to Magenta, oh well)

I called 833-579-2247, the number from the screenshot someone shared, and qualified for the promo. I'm on the T-Mobile for Business Unlimited Select Promo. No free lines when I called. 10 for the sim + tax

Goes without saying, I'm sure, but if you only have the business tablet lines, then you don't qualify. Supposedly you need a minimum of two voicelines or something to qualify.

I called (833) 579-2247 and was qualified for free line promotion ID250385.
I received SIM today, but when I go to tmobile.com -> Account activity -> History -> I see this:

"New line xxx-xxx-xxxx on the SC FM UTT+ 6GB 2 Line Promo plan for $20.0 per month plus taxes and fees.

Why there is $20 per month???
What should I do?

do you see the same?

Where should I look for "congrats enrollment message"? email or sms?

I see Only emails about:

1)T-Mobile Order Confirmation
2)Your T-Mobile Service Agreement
3) You're all set—your payment is complete!BYOD 3in1 SIM Card - I paid $10 plus tax
4)T-Mobile Activation Notification - Phone: BYOD 3in1 SIM Card

I see the same and my line cost is $25. The main thing is go to the current promotions section, it should show up there. It is not showing up for me yet but I saw someone post that it did for them. That is a good confirmation that the line will be free.

Thanks, I found "promotions section"

I think all good:

Under "Current Promotions" tab I see:

My New SIM number xxx-xxx-xxxx
"Line Discount ID250385 = Enrolled - Active
"

Just to confirm, you did not receive a notification from T-mobile (text, email, T-life) telling you qualified for a free line. Still, you called (833) 579-2247 and was told you qualified therefore ordered a SIM. Now that you have the SIM, you checked your account and under the promotions page you see that the new line is enrolled in Line Discount ID250385.

If this is correct, then congrats, you got a free line even though T-mobile didn't notify you initially.

Yes, 2 paid lines with 1 free line. Currently paying $110.
The One All In plan never qualifies for free lines after the initial one afaik. You might want to verify if that is the case.
I just checked mine while trying to add a line, "Limit reached you've reached the maximum number of lines you can add to your current plan"
Anyone know if there's a similar SOC that allows for additional lines?
