Redditers have received offer for another free BYOD line ID250385. Check your emails and T-Life to see if you qualify.

YMMV. If you qualify, you can add it without changing your plan. This is BYOD only; financing a phone is not recommended and you may lose your free line promotion.

I don't know why I opened this thread because I never get these free line deals any more. The last free line I got was in 2022. My plan would support 2 more free lines, but I don't think I will ever qualify for another.A few comments I skimmed here and on the linked Reddit threads mentioned if you had 2 or more free lines, you aren't eligible for this offer. I didn't feel like calling to bug them on something I'm 95% unlikely to qualify for ever, but I did load up my primary T-Life and don't see any offer or banner on the home page.I've read so many horror stories about accidental changes being made to plans that messed up the discounts which were nightmares to get fixed I'm scared to do anything. I swapped from the old Internet to the Rely one to save $15 per month, and so far my bill seems to be correct. What was especially scary is when I log into my T-Mo account online (not using the app) it asks me to select which account to view. It shows 3 accounts all with the same account # and 2 of the 3 showed cancelled, but the active one seems correct. I don't know what the last person did on the switch to Rely to make those 2 cancelled accounts show up. If T-Mo were ever to have a theme song it should be ONJ's "Heart Attack" because of the line "You're giving me a heart attack" every time I open their site or view the bill expecting an error.I noticed Hulu was added some time ago as a perk, but I haven't investigated that or the limit how much they will pay. My Netflix used to be free and now I pay several dollars to keep ad free. With the recent $3-$4 Disney bundle price increases, maybe I should switch to T-Mo's Hulu and drop D+, but I'd be sacrificing the $7 Amex discount.
You can get Hulu from T-Mobile for free, and separately sign up for Disney+ using the same email on D+ website, put in your AMEX card and still get the AMEX credit. This works great UNLESS you pay extra to get ad-free, which free Hulu does not support.

Do I need to activate the SIM card when I receive it by putting it in a phone? Or can I just leave it totally unused with no device attached?

I reached out through text message and gave them the promotion ID, they said they can add it for no fee (they didn't even mention sim activation). I'm on simple choice 4gb with 3 free lines already. But I haven't received any texts and nothing in my account, it's been like 12 hours

I am on ONE plan , have 5 lines, added this promo 6 lines. Yesterday I noticed my Bill was increased with $25. Called T-Mobile immediately. The lady on the phone claimed the promotion will kick in in 2 months, I'll be charged for the next 2 months, than they'll refund the $50 (2months x $25) and should be free afterwards.. Also I gave them my CC number but I was never charged the $10 fee.

I called the number ion the picture to add the line, the guy on the phone was very quick to do it. When I saw the $25 charge I called the same number.

Anyone else has similar experience?

I did not get a text but got an email saying that my line is eligible and I have old Simple Choice plan, which is a bit odd. Though, I am not going to be adding a line since the tax and fee alone is going to be like 5-6 for a month and I don't need a line at this moment.

It looks like that I need to add a line and TMO will give me another free line. It is like "buy one get one free" for me.

Hopefully you see the free line promotion "ID250385" on your online account where Promotions are listed. Either it's there or not.

Thank you for the hint. i do not see that particular promotion there. SO I guess T-Mobile rep lied to me Wondering if there is a line I can complain about that.. I would have paid 50 bucks and get burned after 2 months...
