Anyone have experience with Lenovo honoring manufacturer's warranty on open box laptops from Best Buy?

I bought this brand new at MC and no regrets 😁 even though it's super expensive.

I would be hesitant to trust BB open boxes for an expensive item though... I bought a "excellent condition" legion go from them and the usb port didn't even work; luckily the manager there replaced it with a new one for me.

I've done it twice with more affordable Lenovo laptops and never had a problem. Just send them the receipt and ask for it to be reset.

How does it work? Do you ask for it to be reset when you first get the laptop, or when you need to file a warranty claim, then you ask them to reset at that time?
