I think this has two m2 slots ... model number at Walmart is apparently ANV16-42-R309
Some google research turned this up
https://laptopmedia.com/guides/ho...e-options/
and I could be wrong but.. I think (or google search tells me anyways) acer nitro's normally have two m2 slots? If the video above is correct the spare empty slot will take a gen 4 ssd m2 drive and the two ram sticks are removable and you can upgrade to 32 GB of ram if you want to.
Personally I like the second m2 drive option, makes it a lot easier to store files on a different location so if you have to restore the C/Windows drive from a previous backup you don't lose all the files on the C drive since the last backup.. it's a handy spot (second hard drive) to store said windows backups as well.
The thing I cannot find is color gamut or brightness. This model has a 100% sRGB and a 45% NTSC option. I can't find which one this is anywhere. Also I can't find how many nits the screen has.

Problem is that the model in this deal isn't even on Acer's website currently; there's no way to tell if this is the 45% NTSC/62.5% sRGB or the 100% sRGB panel.
If it's the 100% sRGB version this is a pretty slick deal if you aren't bothered by the plastic build of the Nitro V series.

Windows says the model number of the panel is MGN007QX2-3. I can't really find much out about this panel.
The second unit I got still has a slight rattle in the trackpad when pressing it down, but it's less pronounced. Otherwise, it's a good trackpad.
The graphics card is more powerful than the RTX 3060 in my desktop, but with 8 GB of VRAM vs the 12 GB in my 3060. It seems that it is upgradeable to 64 GB of RAM even though the specs sheet says 32 GB is the max.
I think its a solid machine. If this is the top of your budget, you won't find better bang for your buck brand new. I opted to get the 4 year warranty from Walmart which also includes accidental damage coverage for only $92.
Acer Nitro V: 16" WUXGA 180Hz, Ryzen 7, NVIDIA RTX 5050, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD $749
I will be returning this $699 version and I ordered the $749 version with the Ryzen 7.
