Looks like it takes only one DDR4 SODIMM. For those looking for upgrading the RAM and SSD, check out https://www.crucial.com/compatibl...-15-(3530).

Does anyone actually use the touchscreen on their laptop? Just curious.

Do you think this laptop will be sufficient for 4 years of high school?

that's an "it depends" most laptops are fine so long as you're willing to wait for load times. What's the expected usage case; ie javascript heavy sites ie canvas? is there going to be a hundreds of tabs open? are they going to try a local AI model?

it must have backlit keys, right? the images sure seem to show the 'F5' button with the option to engage/disengage it.

Do you use a touch screen on your phone and tablet? Why not your laptop?

Have been wondering the same, i hate my computer screen being all smudged up so don't think I should even bother with a touchscreen

Because I have a keyboard and trackpad on a laptop and would need to reach way PAST those two things to touch the screen.

It's way different than a phone or tablet.

Plus not to mention Windows 11 isn't designed for touch in the same way as iOS or Android.

I literally never use the touch screen on a laptop and I can't even imagine anyone who grew up using mouse/trackpad/keyboard does so on a laptop either. (But maybe I'm wrong about that?)

My guess is it's exclusively for younger people who grew up with touchscreens and are more comfortable using that than pointer/keyboard?
