only use case I could think where fast charging speed matters is if you're letting someone else juice up off of this while you stand there waiting for them to give it back, in which case obviously just use the wired charging option
for just a power bank that you slap on the back of your phone and carry it around until it's dead, who cares what the charging speed is?

I wish cellphones and/or power banks had configurable charge rates and charge levels. Apple allows you to set a limit, but no less than 80%, and no control on charge rate that I know of.
So I bought one of these, and they are pretty light. About the width of a normal iphone. Thicker than an iPhone Air of course.
kind of confused why people care about the magsafe charging speed, is 7.5W not enough to run the phone off the external battery?

I agree. But most people want the faaassstest charging possible for cellphones and electric cars. I prefer slower charging for battery longevity

Oh- this item came with an adhesive metal ring. I wish I knew that ahead of time, I wouldn't have had to purchase a magsafe case. I don't see the ring listed on the item details, so ymmv

Baseus now has a new, smaller line with 15W of wireless charging.

There's a 0.3" PicoGo version which is the same dimension as OP's product and is only $6 more). The benefit of the PicoGo is that is uses newer Qi2 wireless charging technology (so it provides double the wireless charging speed vs. OP's product; 15W) and faster wired charging (20W vs 18W): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DYJY2...title

Started wireless charging when phone's battery was @ 20%. Took two hours to go from 20% to 60% before it ran out of juice. I would think this pack would be able to charge my phone to 100% when it has 20% battery left. Also the advertised wireless charging speed of 15% - 55% in 30 minutes was not observed with my testing.
Anyone else seeing similar subpar performance? I've requested a replacement to see if I got a dud. I've also purchased Baseus' PicoGo 5,000mAH Qi2 charger for a comparison.
