I mean this deal is $1200, which is making me re-think having my heart set on a machine with a 9800x3d and a 5070ti.

The best deal I've seen on a 9800x3d/5070ti is $1799 atm.
Also struggling with this. I'd even go for a 7800 instead of the 9800, but I really want the 5070ti, but it's hard to justify that want with this price difference here.

I just ordered one to replace my ancient Core i7 6700 (?) / GTX 1060 rig that isn't Windows 11 compatible.
Walmart was having their common issue not letting me pay or add a new credit card, so I used Paypal for now with a few days delayed shipping. If the deal stays alive I'll try to fix the issue and reorder with credit card for extra warranty protection.

Better CPU, and liquid CPU cooler. Only thing worse is the smaller hard drive. I'd say yes, it's worth the extra ~10%.

...oh yeah, and you get a keyboard and mouse. I don't care about these things, but they are worth something.

EDIT: The Acer has a better PSU. Sorry about that bad info.

The Acer one doesn't have return policy, sale is final. For that reason alone, I think ibuypower is better. However I rather put an extra $300 and get the 5070 Ti.

The Acer one has a 850W - 80 Plus Gold and the iBuyPower one has a 750W - 80 Plus Gold. Just throwing that out there for awareness. The CPU and cooling improvements are correct.

Going through chat, I received this response for the Acer:
"The return policy for the Acer Nitro 60 Gaming Desktop includes at least 90-days of free returns. For more details, you can find the specific conditions under Walmart's guidelines for marketplace electronics."

Was going to hold out until Black Friday but this is a really solid setup for the price. The liquid cooling is nice feature.
Jumped on this to replace my Dell XPS 8940 that was showing its age. Going from a 1660 Super to a RTX 5070 will be quite the leap

Is the Acer with RTX 5070Ti worth the $300 extra bucks? I did some searching and seems like this has the better CPU though.

I replied in the other thread, but I think the Acer is a better deal. $100 cheaper. x3D will add up to 10% FPS in some games, but most of the time it is close to a wash. An extra gig of HD space is always useful, esp if you aren't adding another HD soon. Acer looks like a smaller footprint. Would guess the Acer has better build quality and lasts longer, but who knows. Acer likely has better support (A+ vs F for iBuypower on BBB).

This week I noticed several Walmart iBuyPower deals (I've never heard of iBuyPower before but I assume it's Chinese) which all seem to sell out quickly. The problem is I've lost touch with the PC world due to a lack of time, so my PC knowledge ended about 2014. I've been using a 3 GHz i7 gaming PC I built back then with a 3 GB GTX 1060 which is not enough for games of the last few years. To top it off EA nerfed my Battlefield games with some Javelin software that crashes out. So 11 years later it feels like it's time for a new gaming PC.

My 2014 PC was under $500 with the GTX 1060 being $200 of that. Now I'm looking at $1000-$1200 for anything halfway decent in prebuilt. I haven't investigated if these cheap mobos have extra NVMe or x1 slots for SATA expansions since I like to add my own HDs. By the time I do enough research this will be OOS if it's a good deal.

I've never bought a prebuilt PC, so if a part dies, I assume I'm not allowed to fix it and I have to pay shipping back to somewhere (China?). How does the warranty work? Am I allowed to add memory or hard drives without voiding the warranty?

I'm not in a huge hurry and can wait until Black Friday if prices/systems would be better. I want to stay under $1200. I read some comments about companies trying to get rid of old inventory so they can have "super" graphics cards available for the holidays (I don't know what "super" means in that context). That sounds like prices might go up for BF compared to these prices.

Money is tight for me. I'm stuck with the decision I don't know enough to answer: should I buy 1 of these iBuyPower deals now or wait until Black Friday? And which of the numerous deals is the best bang for the buck because I intend this to be solely a gaming machine and it would be nice if I could run BF6 well on it. My 2014 system can't run BF2042 at the lowest settings and lowest 16x9 resolution in a playable manner.

Any advice if I should wait until BF or buy now and which system to buy? There are at least 3 other recent iBuyPower threads that have gone OOS, and I assume those were all better deals than this one.
