i just ordered this saturday for the 1699 deal with discount it was 1621 this deal is 167 dollars cheaper after tax than that deal. i'll have to reach out to credit card and lg to see if they will price correct.

The price on this is coming down fast. It's just a shame that the curve is so extreme, and the model with the adjustable curve is still MIA.

I sometimes work from home, so have my work laptop and my desktop connected to the same monitor, keyboard and mouse etc
I'm lucky my current monitor has a built in KVM. I can't understand how with WFH a KVM isn't more common on monitors .

5k2k is nuts. Even at 45", it has about the same ppi as a 24" 1440p monitor.

Depending on what exact features you are hunting for, I use this monitor as a KVM. I have my KB/mouse receivers, which are USB-A, plugged into the monitor, then the single USB-C cable coming from the monitor goes to my Mac when I'm using it. If I switch to my PC, which is connected for video to a GPU via DisplayPort, I just swap the USB-C cable from the Mac to the PC and my KB/mouse come along. It's not "true KVM" with routing to multiple devices simultaneously, but it works basically the exact same way.

Great deal! I have this monitor, and have no complaints. Some people complain about the matte finish, but it doesn't bother me, in fact I enjoy the colors that the OLED provides.
