I bought a set of Anchor Hocking containers about a year ago and I have not had any problems with the lids.

Same. They crack or warp, and we don't even put them in the dishwasher. Then you are left with a random glass bowl to cover in plastic wrap.

exactly! and they don't even sell the lids separately to replace them time to time. what a waste!

I bought some third party silicone lids that are actually good for these. Just the lids probably cost as much as the whole set. I have to imagine Pyrex and Anchor Hocking know these lids are shit. Why not give good silicone lids and let the customer cover the premium? Great business moves.

I've never had problems with the Anchor Hocking lids...the Pyrex ones, for sure!

Yeah this has been the regular price at Walmart for a long time.
I have about 20 of these for 4-5 years now. I make a lot of stews and soups in late fall-early spring and freeze them in individual portions in these. My lids have not been a problem. Just don't put the lids in the microwave. They get brittle. And don't put them in the dishwasher. Wash them by hand. They will last years.
