DUDE - this is a ridiculous price! Crazier still it applies the coupon multiplied by however many PSU you have in cart! (The coupon says $50 off on up to 5 items)

Take a look at the load vs efficiency curve and make a decision. Power supplies are most efficient when they aren't pulling the max power rating.
It's probably not overkill but if you don't need it don't bother.

Yes, but it might not be overkill for the next build. Power supplies don't change very fast as far as form factor and ends are concerned, so this isn't a bad investment in your system.
