I'm looking for a new ps control that's not $80 dualsense
The customization software is great, the buttons remain clicky and reliable, and the joysticks have never drifted. The charger is great and the battery life is fantastic.
Now the quirks. In the first couple months, occasionally the customizations I make to the button combinations, turbo settings, or RGB lighting tended to get changed or reset on its own. I couldn't figure out if it was my aggressive usage accidentally changing something or the software changing itself mid game. After I made a second customization setting stored in the controller, all of these issues just simply went away. I have no idea how but I have not experienced those same issues since and it's been over 4 months. In retrospect, now I believe it had to have been the controller firmware acting up. It's been perfect since.
Another wear item, the interchangable colored rings under the joysticks have broken off to the point where I've completely pulled them out. A couple tabs will break and it will throw off your joystick movement. Nice novelty to have colored rings, but won't endure over time. I've had both joystick ring tabs break and completely had to pull them out. Controller works fine despite not having those rings installed. Outside of these issues, it's been great.
A good value controller that works with just about any device you might want to use a controller. I do love the fact that this controller doesn't wall you from using it with any device like so many other brands.
