I have this. Bought ~2 years ago on Kickstarter when they released it. Got good discount. Cost to me was $260 for being an early backer.

Bought the following too:
2x8 TB HDDs = $350
4TB NVME SSD = $200
500GB NVME SSD = $40
VPN subscription = $30/year

And now I don't have to pay for Netflix, Hulu, Hbo, etc ever. I watch everything in 4k hdr dolby digital highest bit rate stuff on my own Plex server running on this NAS. Worth it!

Does Ugreen have their own app for downloading/streaming latest 4k movies? If all you do is pirating, what makes ugreen any better than other nas? My pi4 and 4 bay das can stream 4k contents without hiccups and cost less than $200.

I suppose that would depend on if they are needing to transcode any or not. I would opt for an N100 for it's QuickSync capabilities over a Pi 4.

They don't have their own app. They have docker in their Ugreen OS app store and we have to setup TransmissionOpenVPN and Plex containers ourselves. The processor is capable of transcoding but I just download max bit rate stuff and my apple TV connected to the wired LAN has zero hiccups in streaming even 150MBps content from the NAS. Ugreen's NAS is all metal or metallic build so I can vouch for the hardware quality. OS is still evolving so the software isn't as good as Synology. I also use my NAS for multiple other use cases so I needed something well put together rather than DIY for each and everything. ymmv

They have Ugreen OS, and it has an app store that you can download to it or use Docker, it works really well if you want to have a NAS and backup your cloud like gdrive, or all your files remotely. I am using it to back up all my staff and do a RAID 1. All phone photos and GDrive are backed up in sync
