Stop trusting AI. It frequently gets stuff wrong, and/or has conflicting results depending on how you word your questions. It also really only gives you brochure answers, rather than real world data.

AI says no. As always, depends on what other parts you have in your build:AI: For the RTX 5070 Ti, a 750W power supply is the recommended minimum, with an 850W PSU being a better option for headroom and future upgrades.
AI is stupid, that's why I asked SD. Big Grin

But thanks yeah I might wait for my next build.

Depends on what cpu you're running it with. An Intel 14700? No. An amd 7700 or another 65 w chip. Yes. The 70ti recommends a 750w gold but yours is a 650w platinum so it's likely fine. Again... what's the cpu ?

How do you get 10% off with a Prime Visa card?

I've only been getting 5% off on my purchases (6% if I choose delayed "Amazon Day" delivery.

I've been running an RTX 3090 (which is 350W TDP) alongside an 5700X, using a 650W PSU with zero issues. Assuming around 100W for the CPU (that's what I capped my CPU at), that's 450W of TDP for the CPU and GPU, which means 200W of PSU headroom for everything else in the computer, which is way, way more than enough.

The RTX 5070 Ti has a TDP of only 320W, even less than my 3090, so 650W will definitely be more than enough.

Read my post. I've been running a 3090 with a 650W PSU with no issues. 5070 Ti has even lower power draw than the 3090.It still does depend on what CPU you're using, and whether you're over clocking or not, but most likely a 650W PSU will be more than enough.

I am using a 650w seasonic with it no problem. Uses a max of about 300 watts in my testing, fewer if you undervolt
