I have to make a pretty deliberate effort at finding new stuff to listen to. Some of the music subreddits have good recommendations (the commentary on coveted albums is less insightful haha), and the RateYourMusic website has some cool spotlights they do on old and new albums alike.
Also definitely check out the NPR Tiny Desk concerts. You'll find some cool artists you haven't heard of to check out. And not a slight against you because you didn't say it, but I feel like a lot of the oldheads at my work that are stuck listening to 70s-90s music basically found their music through the radio/MTV back in the day alongside some random bargain bin stuff. It's rare they'll talk about music from that era that was a little more niche at the time. Perhaps there's some niche stuff you grew up with and missed that you'd enjoy at least.

These are the best headphones available under $300 period - destroys Sony, Bose, and all others in build quality, sound quality, separation, detail & nuance in music. These are legit entry level audiophile headphones for those who can tell the difference from "consumer" headphones. Worth. every. penny.

Good deal. Maybe I'm just getting old but it just seems like a chore to find stuff to want to listen to.
The best and worst thing about the streaming age of music is that it will provide you curated playlists that fit your taste to hear more of what you already like, and not do a ton with exposing outside of that.
