Highly do NOT recommend this printer, no wifi, leveling the bed isn't great. If your going to get a cheap starter printer at least get the KE version which is better in every way and you can find them on eBay refurbished for like $160 usually with a Allstate warranty.

I agree.
I started with the Ender 3 not knowing anything I just thought that's what 3d printing was, spending countless hours tinkering with the machine to get it to work. Just got the Flashforge AD5x and I can't believe how easy 3d printing could be. Just changing out filiments is night and day. Auto leveling out of the box, assembly was supper easy, took like 10 minutes to assemble it.
I got this printer refurb on ebay last year and I love it. I think its a great starter. No real major problems. Leveling is easy. A friend of mine had a flashforge and now a prusa and seems to always be having problems. I just keep printing away.
This isn't a bad printer at all. However, the value proposition is getting harder with things like the Flashforge 5M frequently on sale for $170 and the Ender 3V3 recently on sale for around this price. Generally this will print anything the FF will but at a significantly lower speed (perhaps taking 50% longer).
Having owned this printer I had no leveling issues and since I keep my printers off line the lack of WiFi isn't an issue for me. I didn't like the PC build plate and replaced it with PEI. That is a good update but also bumps the price by $15-20.
So, good printer but not a great price because so many other better printers have come down in price.
I see it as a good printer and would have no trouble recommending it if so many other better deals weren't just a bit more.
Also, this shouldn't be confused for some of the older Ender 3 printers. The V3 printers are nothing like the older models. They do fill auto leveling and auto z offset.
