Battery backup can be very helpful with solar. If you want to use Ecoflow, your lowest hassle way of integrating it into your system would be to use their smart panel which can adjust when it's pulling from solar, when it's pulling from grid, and when it will charge/discharge the batteries. There's a lot to factor in that depends on you use case (budget, solar output, average power usage, etc).

Very nice price for new batteries, only bested by the Home Depot $1599 deal that was a flash sale.

Would strongly recommend using a manual transfer switch, EcoFlow's smart panel is really unreliable and Ecoflow themselves have stated they want to charge monthly for the use of the management app in the future.

I'm guessing you have solar panels feeding an inverter directly, meaning you have no charge controller for batteries and your inverter doesn't really work with batteries. So it's more complicated than just adding batteries. Even if I'm wrong, these batteries are for use with an ecoflow charger/inverter, so without buying one of those as well they are of no use to you
