400 lumens is not that bright, a 60W bulb puts out 800 lumens.

I have had several of these and was very happy with them. But ... the screws that hold it closed are plastic and they degrade over time, so that you can no longer unscrew them to replace the batteries. I contacted Mr Beams about a solution and was told, basically, to buy another light. Apparently it's a known issue but they were unable or unwilling to provide a solution. Too bad, because the lights were still working fine - if I could put new batteries in them. Mr Beams moved to my "Do not buy" list after that. No matter how slick the deal might be.

A 60w bulb does not work on batteries!! You are an expert, think about the use case for this one!!

I have one of these as my porch light and it lights up like the day. Even the one on the patio deck lights up the whole area. Think again! You should go back to your bulbs.

I can't remove the clip. It's stuck forever to my house because of a bad screw they gave.
