Same deal, same item, DIY installation in my garage (after HOA approval), for $424 in Oct 2024, works fine. R32 refrigerant, 110v, super quiet inverter compressor (no noise even if you stand next to it). Regarding the heat pump, do not expect to heat the room much. Also, no paper template to mount the indoor air handler but rest all good. Mobile app helps to remotely turn it on. It was a no-complaint product.

I think the literature shows it's best if at all possible to get the 220 version over the 110 for efficiency purposes. That said, for a unit this small, the efficiency gains will be veeery small.

I do not understand. It doesn't say heat pump, but says AC, yet says heat mode. Please elaborate.

Same code works for the cheaper 230V version, bringing the total to $435. Amperage requirements on a 230V unit are lower because of the higher voltage, too, so you don't need higher gauge, more expensive wire.

I put this unit in last year in my garage. It has been great. Watched a few videos on install on YT and bought the tools needed to install on Amazon. Probably about $100 for the parts and a mounting bracket. Mobile app is excellent.

what literature? I have seen several people debunking 220 is more efficient than 110 for anything!

Dunno if it's common knowledge, but all of these are technically heat pumps...
