These comments are hilarious. The fact that people think that this set is an actual working Gameboy (something that has been out of production for 30 years, btw) is actually a compliment to the set's designer.

I'm going to sue Lego. I bought the Mona Lisa at Target and it turns out it's not the real painting! What a ripoff.

Kohls had this the other day at this price because it was eligible for a $10 off toy purchase coupon, plus $10 Kohls cash for a $50 spend, plus 3x membership rewards for using your kohls card. Effective price was about $30.

Unfortunately I can't find this one on their site now, but the discounts and extra points are still valid for other toy purchases.

Loved the OG game boy. Had a few accessories like the printer camera and the unfortunately named Handy boy lol. I have the Lego NES and TV set and I think I want to get this as well. Thanks OP for taking me back to the (way) better nostalgic days.

Yup, use the Costco app to look up the item number to see if it's in stock. If it is in stock then it's on the floor and available for purchase.

You won't be able to find inventory online until the set is actually released on October 1st. I went to Kohls earlier today for an Amazon return and found 3 being put on the shelves. I bought 2 and left the 3rd for a sales person that got super excited.
