Must not be selling well since this just came out.
They aren't selling well. This is the first DJI product in a while that hasn't been better than the competitors' offerings. The Mini 5 Pro is great and Osmo Action 6 should be good though.
Dropped to $412 now, at that price it's a no brainer. I have the camera and it's pretty much comparable to the Insta360 X5. Some areas it excels at and others it lacks but when balanced between negatives and positives they are pretty much the same. As for all the people who are griping about there being no removable lens, I've had every iteration of the Insta360 X series up to now and I have not once ever scratched or damaged a lens but then again I am naturally a careful person to begin with. Would removable lenses have been better, of course but it's definitely not a game changer....for me at least. Every camera I've had from Insta360 from the X series to all of their traditional action cameras have been disappointing from an image quality perspective....there's just always something about the image that sucks so I'm giving up on them even though I've dumped thousands into their products.

Wow. @$412, this is a good deal. Wonder why the big drop in price. But this would make a great addition to my DJI set up. Just wish their "embargo" in the US would resolve.

GoPro Max 2 is on pre-order now is why I think.
I agree, they are rubbing it in GoPro's face for sure! What baffles me is how Insta360 pretty much refuses to cave and discount their products over time. Their stuff is rarely on sale and when they are on sale it's always by tiny percentages. They have a camera (X5) that is now more than half a year old yet still costs more than both the DJI and GoPro equivalents that are only days old.

Correction: they're not out of the US. But Dji refresh no longer available.
