have it. love it. cant recommend this machine enough. If you're new to espresso or looking for a decent upgrade and willing to spent a bit more than basic entry level its the best bang for your buck machine out there.

Warning about the black plastic portion below the group head if you unscrew the metal mesh screen. Mine melted into my coffee after a couple years and I was annoyed if I ate all that plastic. I emailed breville about it and they said it's BPA free so you should be good to go and pay us to replace. Was very disappointed with that response. I don't think the issue is unique to only the Infuser

Reddit link is brokenCan that plastic bit in group head be removed? There's also a plastic hit in portafilter but it can be easily removed

I have one of these. Just keep in mind the metal attaching the thermostat fails overtime. You can rig it back on with some rigged copper or other conductive wiring. Top of my machine has some bubbles that formed when the metal first started to detach and melted the top lid. Overall, not a hard fix but also not for the foolhardy. Not to mention if you try to solder it back, you'll likely burn out the thermostat and have to find the replacement part($15). Otherwise you're paying something like $250 to Breville to fix it when it inevitably fails.
