Regarding width, I've stayed with the 2W option... even though the descriptions here and there both state that the "regular" size is actually 2E wide, when placed in the cart the 9 Regular shows as 9-D and the 9 Wide as 9-2W.
So my 9.5 Extra Wide feet are going into 9 Wides. Fingers.... well, toes actually.... crossed.
Now to deal with the hassle of a return and exchange... assuming the size I need is available AND the price I paid will be honored.
For reference, my feet are 9-1/2 (4W-Extra Wide). I ordered 9 (2W-Wide). At this point, it looks like 8-1/2 (D-Regular) is probably what I need. The new Sketcher "relaxed sizing" may be as much as one full size and two widths larger than traditional sizing..... at least for me.
I give up. These go back, and until they fix their self-inflicted intentional misreporting of their sizing Sketchers are off my radar moving forward.
