Looks like code can't be used on the purchase of a membership. "Deals in the cart are not eligible for promo codes." Still a good price.

how does this place compare to Costco and Sam's? what items are different/good and cheaper here? is it worth having this extra membership esp if the store is the farthest to one?

My wife and I are BJs members and got to take a deep look around in Costco about a year or two ago. Prices are right about the same or a little better at Costco. Most of the stuff we usually buy at BJs was available at Costco, though oddly we could couldn't find cat litter at Costco. Also, almost every time there's a deal on something at a wholesale club, it's at Costco. When I see a deal here that's there, I look on the BJ's app to see if there's anything similar there and there never is. Costco is further away from our home though and would be really inconvenient for us to have a membership there so we begrudgingly stay with BJs.

make sure only the BJs is in your cart with CLUB code, that code is unique this deal.

My BJ's membership expires in two days. I wonder if this would work if I let my membership expire and then sign up with this? Probably not but I haven't seen any decent renewal deals yet. It sounds like it's best to let your current membership expire first and then grab some sort of renewal or new member deal.

Really? My Sams does not allow the use of manufacturer coupons. It has been several years since I last tried, so maybe the policy has changed?
