I asked Amazon's Rufus what the sweetener is. It says that while the description says Allulose, many customers complained that they received ones with Erythritol. So apparently, it's a known issue.
For those who don't know, Erythritol can cause health problems. Several years ago, researchers found that one drink can increase platelet clotting 2-3x. That increases the risk for heart attacks and strokes for people with cardiovascular disease. Stopping platelet clots is why some people take low dose aspirin. Erythritol negates that. Furthermore, the effect lasts up to 3 days. For people with no cardiovascular issues, Erythritol may be okay. However...
A few months ago, researchers found that it may damage the blood-brain barrier. That's what isolates and protects your brain from the blood, which may contain harmful pathogens and molecules. Erythritol increases the oxidative stress as well as diminishes the production of nitric oxide, which makes blood vessels elastic. So in addition to stroke, it can also harm your brain directly. Unlike the cardiovascular issues, this affects everyone. In other words, I'd suggest you avoid Erythritol. And that's probably why BodyArmor is reformulating the Lyte drinks with Allulose.

I asked Amazon's Rufus what the sweetener is. It says that while the description says Alluose, many customers report that they receive ones with Erythritol. So apparently, it's a known issue.

It's too bad because Erythritol is possibly the best tasting sugar substitute. Smooth with no chemical aftertaste. And the people who benefit most from sugar-free foods and weight loss are also the same people who have the biggest risk from Erythritol: cardiovascular patients, obese people and diabetics. Diabetics must avoid sugar but they often also have vascular/circulatory issues so Erythritol is no longer an option.
The scary thing is that some researchers think that the risk might apply to all sugar alcohols. They include Mannitol, Sorbitol, Xylitol, Lactitol, Isomalt and Maltitol -- all found in many sugar free foods like ice cream and candy. In fact, Xylitol has been proven to also cause clotting.
As for Allulose, it is not yet approved in Canada or Europe:
