Another consideration is that 3 units may be too much for your house. The Best Buy listing is inaccurate. A 3-pack covers up to 7,800 square feet. A 2-pack is all that is needed for up to 5,700 square feet, and a single unit covers about 2,850 square feet per Asus's website: https://www.asus.com/networking-i...nwifi-et9/ However, even if you only need 2 might be good to get a 3 pack, so you have a spare.
And if you don't need the ET9 but are OK with ET8 (which has a slower 5ghz band, 2x2 streams instead of 4x4 streams on the ET9) then Amazon has the ET8 3-pack for $258.99 right now with coupon. So if you have a modest internet plan (500mbps or less) ET9 may be overkilll.
Some folks are rushing to buy WiFI 7, but I think WiFi 6E (this set) and WiFi 6 devices still have a lot of life left in them, and they're often much more reliable. Since they have been on the market longer, WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E routers tend to have more stable firmware with less issues.
