PPS is kind of just a more advanced form of voltage control. All PPS is PD compliant, but not all PD has PPS.All PD devices support the common voltages 5,9,20 etc. PPS allows finer control for more efficient and faster charging.

Looks like type A has it's own 18W and 2 type C sharing 100W. when using 2 type C at the same time, one max at 60W and one at 45W.

IIRC PPS doesn't matter if you are using Apple devices

This 100W 3-port wall charger for $27 may be the closest equivalent from Iniu (a brand which I also like and have had good experiences with).

Because Samsung devices require PPS support for their implementation of fast charging.

At the foundational level, PD is based on fixed power profiles of certain combinations of voltage and amperage. PPS, and AVS, in the latest spec, allow for varying those properties as requested by the devices being charged.

PPS and AVS are both optional features within the PD spec, so companies are free to implement, or not implement, support in their products.

If you don't own, or plan to own, a Samsung or other device that utilizes it, no big deal. They will still work with basic PD, but simply won't charge as quickly.
