This high torque Flex impact wrench is a freaking beast, 1500Ft lbs! Full kit for only $299, is a steal specially w/ the 6.0A flex stacked cells.

A quick top level overview about FLEX. They are owned by Chervon (Chinese) who also own EGO outdoor power equipment along with SKIL. I'm in the FLEX ecosystem and own 9 tools, mostly impacts and saws. I did have early battery problems with my impacts but they replaced the packs under warranty. They are good tools, but they are heavy and not refined for the most part, especially compared to my Makita XGT system. I worry about the long game with FLEX. My local Lowes got rid of the FLEX aisle recently and replaced it with DeWalt, leaving only a dusty endcap for them. I also see that almost all the FLEX @ Lowes are on major sales/clearance pricing. While I don't think the brand is going away, there are rumor's (not confirmed) that Lowes is moving away from FLEX at the end of the year, and these sales appear to reflect that. VERY IMPORTANT. If you purchase anything in the FLEX lineup, be sure to register the tools online at the FLEX website within 30 days. This requires you to upload the receipt, but applies a "limited 5 year warranty" to whatever you purchased.

I can't be the only person that wishes that batteries were standardized so we didn't have to worry so much about ecosystems.

I noticed this too at my local store. Flex has such good tools, very powerful. A co worker uses his on jobsites; we are currently working on a hospital and his tools are taking a beating and keep on chugging.
