Seems like a decent deal, this goes for about ~$50 on TCG Player.

What do you mean by that? I have bought commander decks from Amazon before. They came in seal.

Check out the 1 star reviews. People steal cards out of these and reseal them before sending them back to Amazon. Amazon employees "check" to see that the product is still sealed, then restock them to be sold as new. Very common problem with MTG sold on Amazon.

Shouldn't be an issue any longer. They changed TCG products to "Final Sale" a few months back. So long as it is shipped from and sold by Amazon, it shouldn't be a concern. You can still contact them if they send an incorrect order or the product is damaged during shipping. It would be sent for destruction/resale store at that point but not back to a consumer.

It shouldn't, but it is. Amazon still absolutely refunds defective product and as we've seen, used/returned items make it back into the bins and that's not even getting into the fact that Amazon has been commingling all of their inventory with third parties since at least 2019.

They do not train returns processors on the ins and outs of MTG return fraud. They are underpaid, overworked and literally piss in jugs. They see a box with a sticker seal on it and toss it into the restock line. They do not care.
