Got these noodles last time, they are pretty bland. My wife thought so too and she's the type to only use half a ramen seasoning packet sometimes on other flavors

I like to make it a full meal by adding diced potatoes, onions, carrots, and either a frozen seafood mix or rehydrated vegan protein, so I need to add more seasoning per package. You can get extra jjajang seasoning powder or cubes from your local Asian grocery store or Amazon.
Make sure you drain almost all, if not all of the water depending on how soft or al dente the noodles are cooked, respectively, before adding the oil and seasoning packet or it's going to be bland.

Definitely not bland. They're not *spicy* but have a very rich flavor and are one of my favorites.
