It looks like Best buy is giving us pretty good value for trade-in. I get $550 trade in value for my M1 Pro 16GB 512GB. The price for this machine on eBay currently is around $600-650.

I have this with the 500 GB Drive, great laptop. I happen to check the Best Buy trade-in value of it last week and it was $1200 which I thought was high considering I paid $1500 for it in August 2024.
Seems crazy that over a year later I could trade it in and for a $300 difference get the larger drive, which is $200 on a new one
