Extreme YMMV but I got an 8GB M1 Air from Best Buy in "fair" condition back in 2024 and it only had 6 cycles on the battery with 100% capacity remaining. I did store pickup so I could return it easily if it was absurdly high. I helped one of my friends find a pro model and the first one had 700 cycles on it lol, second one 150 but the magsafe port didn't work and the third one under 100 cycles so he kept that one.
