Not ideal for use as computer speakers, they turn off quickly when not in use, like use your computer for 5 minutes without sound output then try to play something and the damn speakers have turned off. id always have to switch to them as the sound output, over and over again, every time i wake up the computer from sleep. Did not play well with mac, buyer beware. Outside of computer use im sure they are just fine.
All that being said i downgraded back to my Edifiers that have none of these issues and im really just as happy sound wise, they sound different but just as good to me.
I have a HomePod -- it sounds great. I also have some KEF speakers -- they sound great. I'd take this deal any day over a pair of HomePods though.
Although, I'd rather buy unpowered speakers and a small amp instead.

I own both, the klipschs are better for sitting at a distance. I use the kefs for my desktop, I got them on the last Costco deal.
They both sound great but the kefs have this sparkle that is just so nice. The fives low end is like no other bookshelf speaker though.
the fives are also significantly bigger than these.
I highly, highly recommend configuring the speakers through the app. it really does change the sound profile. i have mine closer to a wall and it reduced the boominess.
Connections are shitty. Even Bluetooth/ARC/Optical. Every connection has to be woken up using app. Even ARC. I have to grab my phone change the input and then I can play. Optical out from TV, cannot change volume. Unless you ONLY stream music, I think this is good investment. Else please dont.
You got a busted unit friend
i will admit I've had some connectivity issues early on, but I use them mostly wired to my desktop through optical and they work flawlessly. if I wanted to connect to them now, it would be a non issue. Spotify just does this thing where after a while, it won't show the speaker as connected, even if it's still playing the music.
i just connected to it from the app to check a firmware update, it was an immediate wake up.
Anyone know if these are cheaper in store?
These are online-only items, unless someone returns them in-store, and the store manager decides to sell them in-store for a lower price. This is what happened with me (as I shared a few comments before yours), and I got lucky with even a lower price and they were brand new and factory sealed.

Are these cheaper Cisco versions? I went on Amazon to look at more reviews and they are more expensive $1,499) and dont have the letters LT in the model name
The non LT is a higher end version with 3.5mm inlet and an added music coder that I don't know about.
The big difference between LT (light) and Standard:
3.5MM jack on Standard; Roon wireless play on Standard; no cable required between the two on Standard (ie BOTH speakers are powered and can communicate wirelessly between each other) making cable management perhaps a bit easier in some scenarios [whereas for LT there's a USBC cable between the two speakers and only one is powered]

- Bigger "sweet spot" due to the coaxial driver
- Smart speaker with app
- No traditional EQ, but instead room adjustment toggles
- Coaxial driver dents easily (from kids, guests, moving)
- USB-C wire to connect the two
The KEF edges out the Kanto, but you cant go wrong with either.
