Looks like Dirac's ART RC is here for current Denon and Marantz models from 3800/Cinema 50 and up!
As rumored it's $300 for the upgrade!
Looks like the whole bundle discount is $799.
All the others saves you around $50.
The usual 20% in December would save another $60.
FYI if you use a subwoofer, DLBC is required.

The whole bundle saves you around $150.
With DL, it saves you around $50.
The people that "like"(ART) this, they have been waiting over a year for it to come out!
For what it's supposed to offer, $300 is a pretty decent "sale" for them!
On the other hand A1 EVO Acoustica is free!

If you don't have reference speakers in ALL positions.
I completely agree, the $800 is much better spent on upgrading those speakers to reference ones.
The irony with a better AVR.
The top two things people point in a better AVR over D/M is room correction(Dirac) and internal power.
To get the Dirac included in those better AVRs is not $800, it's $350(likely $280 in Nov/Dec).
Keep in mind they also don't get the option to ART.
Power wise IF you don't have all reference speakers in all positions, then you're still better off upgrading them 1st.
You can always add power to the ones that need it, imo that's the better way to go.
A1EVO is a game changer & throws a big wrench into all this!
It pretty much gives you Dirac Live & Bass Control performance for free!
You don't even need to buy a new AVR!
ART is pretty incredible BUT only worth it for people that can take advantage of it imo.

If it's better than the 20% from last year, I might just go all the way to Dirac ART on my little 3800.
You do realize ART is mainly an extension to DLBC right?
This is kinda a moot point since it's highly likely the sale with be 20% like last year!
Onkyo or Integra fans need to decide what they want to do if they want Dirac ART soon.
