I've purchased other factory-refurbished Marantz items from them and it's basically brand new. This little receiver sounds great too.

Have had great experiences buying from a4l. They are official and legitimate and great deals to be had on quality stuff. Have a refurbished Marantz receiver that has been going strong for about 10 years now. Looked brand new and had every single thing in the box that would come with a new receiver.

I could be wrong, but I feel like they were selling these for $799 3-6 months ago. I know the Marantz 30 was $1399 for a while, then $1599, and has now shot up to $2499. Not knocking this deal at all. As this could be the new normal due to tariffs.

You sure the marantz 30 was $1399? I would have totally jumped on that

FYI. The parent company was recently sold to harman which is owned by Samsung. Too soon to speculate what they do or change if any but worth knowing

Are you talking about the Marantz Model 30 amplifier (not an AVR)? The MSRP on that is $3500. The Marantz Cinema 30 (which is an AVR) retails for $4800.

Your pricing seems really off or A4L is even more "gray market" than I thought!

The Model 30 was $1399 I didn't specify. I was keeping tabs on it for a long time as I almost bought one.

Yes, I meant the model 30. I was just using it as an example of the price increase(s).

If it was brand new at $1399, then you really missed the boat (but probably not a genuine Marantz warranty).

It was factory Refurbished like the Cinema 70's being offered here. Yeah, looking back I should have just bought one, but I never thougt everything was going to skyrocket in price the last year or so.

True, forgot about that. Samsung is good for external SSD and sound bars and not much else these days.
