In the end, we did end up using it as additional storage and countertop space for a coffee machine up against the wall, but any hope of wheeling it out into the center of the room to use as a working surface were unrealistic. Just too flimsy. Has too little structural integrity to be moved around much. After a few years when moving house, I just threw it away. I didn't expect it to survive the move, wasn't even going to try.
You get what you pay for. Not the heaviest duty of builds but worked well for my coffee cart. Light to medium duty.
Had to replace the casters after about a year. They collapsed under the weight of the cabinet and contents. Replaced with metal full swivel rubber wheel casters and it's been great since. Highly recommend you do this during the build since it sucks to empty the cart out to flip it over to change.
Overall review: good for the money. Not the best but not bank breaking. Replace the casters and probably the interior shelf as it will sag over time, I just flipped mine over and hope the sag will even out eventually. Looks nice and clean but move it gently as it's all thin particleboard. Check it over for damage when you receive it. It's heavy and not very well protected in the box.
