Yeah, I saw this but wife wanted a white one so got that instead... Compared to the $179 one I got from Home Depot 2 years back, this is pretty shotty. The handles are plastic painted metallic, the door hinge are plastic(metal on $179 one), the wheels are made of thinner plastic and wheel stopper is plastic(metal on $179 one), the magnet barely holds the door, the top 'wood' is not solid wood like in $179 one but its also particle board but 2 partical board glued to make it thicker and glued thin wood colored vinyl panel on 3 sides so back is exposed to the "lie". So if you do get it, just like the other poster says, put it against the wall.

You get what you pay for is what I'm thinking while assembling it. But after all it's done, it's not great but it's not terrible. I love a good bargain and have few used items too but this is just shotty. lol. Make sure the door middle gaps and hinge side are equally balanced out. i made hinge side too tight and now there's bigger middle gap.

I think it's good for semi outdoor like sunroom or garage storage/workbench. For a kitchen island kind, I'd spend a bit more money to get a nicer one (that's nice all 360°) but if you're in a pinch, this will do. I may get this cheap gray one as a small garage workbench.

I have this island. It is definitely nothing to write home about. But for 60 dollars it should last you a few years. I would recommend it at this price point. Take your time building it and put it against the wall.

Well this sucks. I bought a different color that was on sale about a week and a half ago. But that was $78. This is a better price and a better color.

But not worth the effort to return and build another one.

It's not high quality but it's good for the price. Place holder for me for now until we decide having an island is useful and what we might want.

Should work good. I don't imagine the counter top being all that long lasting but figured I can also put my own counter top on top of it if I decide to prolong it's use.

Mine came with one of the top counter bolt/screws missing. They are specialty bolts but I improvised with something generic.

Hated putting this together, several screw spots not pre drilled, particle board splitting when screwing in certain places, and impossible to get the hinges / doors mounted evenly. Could get a lot worse for $60 but will work for a year or two until we can do a proper remodel and get more counter and cabinet space

Wonder if this could hold a 20 gallon aquariums weight with the wheels off? Would make a nice aquarium stand to hold supplies and filters

The name of this brand sounds like something Sloth from the Goonies would yell if he were trying to catch an elevator

I probably wouldn't trust it. I think in theory it would hold, but it would start looking bad as soon as any water got on the top. The whole thing is cheap particle board and if it gets ANY water on it, it bubbles almost immediately.

Would this be any good for an entry way "landing pad"? Can I leave off the spice rack or towel holder to stick it in a corner near the front door?

I have this. Bought it a bit over a year ago to use as a coffee bar in our kitchen because the Keurig was too tall to fit under our cabinets.

For this price, it's a good buy. I wouldn't recommend it at full price though. It's kind of rickety already and it just sits in one spot. Just opening and closing the drawer once or twice a day for a year has caused it to feel sketchy like it will collapsee at any moment.
