There are a lot of USB C powered soldering irons around now. I have an original Pinecil that really works well. Having a longer cable able to handle the 65W or so that the Pinecil draws makes it handy for portable use.

I got the one coiled one from a few days ago and it actually feels pretty nice. It's smooth and dust doesn't stick to it. The connector is metal so that's a nice plus, but it's kinda bulky so not ideal if whatever you're plugging into is recessed. For $6 seems cheap enough for a 10 foot cable, so might pick one up why not.

Is it flexible enough to use for a dash cam? I don't need to hide it. I want to use for side cams. Fast charging is good when needed. Now 3M cables are probably more expensive on ali and not fast charging.

I think he means it's literally a decent choice for a usb-c powered soldering iron perhaps because the silicon would be somewhat temperature resistant. I have another no name silicon cable that is very flexible, will see when this one arrives, but it should be very flexible yes.
