My Batteries are January 2023 and light up all green on the battery test.

It is much more powerful than a handheld model, but not flexible enough.
If during the first charge the battery registers close to zero (0-1 bar) or 'full' then it won't be as healthy and I would ask to exchange them for better conditioned packs.
Fortunately, my Lowe's had this and both batteries sat at 40%. Despite being stamped 12/22, I am confident that they are between 95-99% of their rated capacity and will be good for many years to come.
